Additional Testing for Risk Parameters
Risk parameters are a defined subset of test parameters. They are identified based on their potential impact on human health, their classification as legally restricted substances in the EU or US, and their critical significance within OEKO-TEX® certifications.
If a failed test result involves one of these risk parameters, a second test series will be conducted within the certificate’s validity period. This retest verifies that the corrective action taken by the certificate holder has been effectively implemented and maintained throughout the certification year.
