MADE IN GREEN means sustainability and traceability.

OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN is a traceable product label that is issued for textiles or leather that have been:

Tested for harmful substances
Produced in environmentally friendly facilities
Produced in safe and socially responsible workplaces

The unique product ID allows anyone to trace where the product was manufactured, enabling a whole new level of transparency for companies and consumers.

How is the MADE IN GREEN label achieved?

The label is awarded based on STeP Certification of sustainable production facilities and STANDARD 100, ORGANIC COTTON or LEATHER STANDARD Certification of products tested for harmful substances. The label owner manages their supply chain with the myOEKO-TEX Database.

OEKO-TEX® STeP label + STANDARD 100, ORGANIC COTTON or LEATHER STANDARD = MADE IN GREEN label — OEKO-TEX® STeP certifies the responsible process. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, ORGANIC COTTON and LEATHER STANDARD certify safe product. OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN is a traceable product label that combines the previous certifications.

OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN labels are valid for 1 year and traceable for 5 years
Annual renewal required
An OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label may be revoked if the certificates associated with it are withdrawn
