American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA)

AAFA is a trade association representing apparel, footwear and other sewn product companies, and their suppliers, which compete in the global market.

Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC)

ZDHC's mission is to advance towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in the textile, leather and footwear value chain to improve the environment and people's well being. Their mission is widespread implementation of sustainable chemistry and best practices to protect consumers, workers and the environment.

Outdoor Industry Association (OIA)

OIA is a membership-driven trade organization for the outdoor industry. In collaboration with its members, they are a force for the industry in recreation and trade policy, sustainable business innovation and increasing outdoor participation. Hohenstein is also an active participant in the Clean Chemistry and Materials Coalition (CCMC).

American Association of Textile Colorists and Chemists (AATCC)

The AATCC develops test methods to ensure quality and meet the needs of those in the ever-changing textile, apparel and materials industries.

Textile Exchange (TE)

TE is a global nonprofit that brings leading brands, retailers, and suppliers together to increase the use of preferred fiber and materials for a positive impact on the environment.

Association and Voice of the U.S. Sewn Products Industry (SEAMS)

SEAMS is an association dedicated to reshaping the American supply chain and provides members access to resources that promote a return of production to the US.

Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA)

The FDRA is a trade association serving the footwear supply chain through advocacy, training, consulting, development, sourcing and compliance. Members include footwear manufacturers, brands, retailers and importers.

North American Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD)

The NAUMD is a trade association representing the interests of all parties in the uniform and image apparel industry. It is composed of manufacturers, distributors and associated companies committed to growing the uniform and image apparel markets.

Promotional Products Association International (PPAI)

PPAI is a member organization for suppliers and distributors in the promotional product industry.

Advanced Textiles Association (ATA)

ATA is a member-driven trade association that facilitates industry collaboration through events, publications, education, networking, business resources and advocacy.

The Microfibre Consortium (TMC)

The TMC is a nonprofit organization that offers practical solutions for the textile industry to minimize fibre fragmentation and release to the environment from textile manufacturing and product life cycle.

Sustainable Furnishings Council (SFC)

SFC is a coalition of manufacturers, retailers and designers dedicated to raising awareness and expanding the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices across the home furnishings industry.

Association of Suppliers to the British Clothing Industry (ASBCI)

ASBCI members represent all the key sectors of the industry such as fabrics, clothing manufacturers, retailers, chemical suppliers, etc.

European Outdoor Group (EOG)

The EOG is a member association that provides European brands, manufacturers and retailers in the outdoor industry with market insights, collaboration, events and sustainability opportunities.

AFBW

The AFBW (Allianz faserbasierte Werkstoffe Baden-Württemberg) connects science and economics, people and markets, technologies and applications – from the fiber to the finished product.

Forschungs­kuratorium Textil e.V.

This Berlin-based institution is a member of the German Association of Industrial Research Organizations (AiF) and coordinates the Industrial Collective Research (IGF) program for textile research.

BIOPRO

BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg is the regional association for organic economy, organic technology, the pharmaceutical industry and medical technology in the state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany.

BioRegio STERN
