Disinfectants are subject to complex EU regulation.

EN 14885 specifies test methods and approval requirements for assessing efficacy. The overview standard regulates the use of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics in human and veterinary medicine, food, household or public facilities and other industries.

For European approval of disinfectants and antiseptics, independent testing laboratory must confirm the efficacy of the product. Whether bactericidal, levurocidal, fungicidal, mycobactericidal, tuberculocidal or virucidal - the efficacy must be proven in the quantitative suspension test (phase 2/stage 1) and in the practical germ carrier test (phase 2/stage 2).

We validate product claims.

for surface disinfection, instrument disinfection and textile disinfection.
