ISSAQUAH, WA (Jan. 23, 2018) – Costco announces partnership with the Hohenstein Group to integrate STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification into its Smart Screening Program to ensure safe, traceable and sustainable products. The program is designed to protect consumer and environmental health by removing chemicals of concern (COCs) from the products and their components offered by Costco Wholesale.
The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is an independent verification that products have been tested for over 350 harmful substances.
